The invention relates to a frictional false-twist unit for processing a thread, comprising a plurality of cooperating friction spindles that support a plurality of friction disks at the circumference thereof. The friction spindles are mounted on a spindle holder, one of the friction spindles being designed in such a way as to be movable on the spindle holder between an operational position and an open position. In order to be able to open and close the frictional false-twist unit without having to rely on an operator, according to the invention, an actuator guides the friction spindle back and forth between the operational position and the open position. |
