The present invention provides a method and a system for caching P2P content based on a bio-inspired algorithm for a mesh network environment. The method for caching P2P content based on a bio-inspired algorithm for a mesh network environment comprises: a step of checking a user request for content in a mesh router (MR); and a step of searching for the content based on a bio-inspired algorithm in the mesh router which has received the request for the content.
