PURPOSE: A carbon dioxide operation system and a method thereof are provided to utilize sucked carbon dioxide as piston gas becoming supplied for maintaining the inner pressure of a carbon dioxide storage tank when injecting carbon dioxide into the carbon dioxide storage tank, thereby reducing operating expenses. CONSTITUTION: A carbon dioxide operation system (400) includes a carbon dioxide feeding line (111), a carbon dioxide injection line (121), a carbon dioxide suction line, a regeneration gas feeding line (171), and a gas discharge line (175). The carbon dioxide feeing line is connected from carbon dioxide temporary storage (130) to a carbon dioxide storage tank (110). The carbon dioxide injection line is extended from the carbon dioxide storage tank to the carbon dioxide storage. A pressing pump (125), a vaporizing device (127), and a first heating device (129) are installed on the carbon dioxide injection line. The carbon dioxide suction line is connected to the upper part of the carbon dioxide storage tank. A suction tower (160) is installed on the carbon dioxide suction line. The regeneration gas feeding line is connected to a regeneration gas source to the suction tower. A second heating device (173) is installed on the regeneration gas supply line. The gas discharge line is branched from the regeneration gas supply line and extended to the outside.
