The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus to provide a playlist. The method to provide the playlist according to the present invention includes the steps of: receiving a play request message as to a content from a terminal; requesting the playlist including at least one bandwidth information which can be played as to the content; receiving the playlist from a server in accordance with the playlist request; correcting the playlist on the basis of the available bandwidth information of the network; and transmitting the corrected playlist to the terminal.
