PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a uniform honeycomb structure in a short molding cycle by setting the content of a rubber-like elastic material to a weight percentage falling within a range specific value and a total amount of a volatile mater to the weight percentage below a specific value and also setting a reduce viscosity of a styrene polymer to a range of a specific value to increase a thermal deformation temperature to a level above a specific temperature. SOLUTION: The content of a rubber-like elastic material of rubber-reinforced styrene resin with a styrene polymer as a continuos phase is 4-15 wt.% and the reduced viscosity of the styrene resin is 0.40-1.2 (100 ml/g). In additon, this rubber-like elastic material is stretched about 5-20 times as much as the thickness of a sheet to obtain a light-weight and uniform honeycomb panel. The honeycomb structure is composed of alternately and regularly disposed recessed parts 2 formed conically from opening parts 1 arranged in order on one face and an opposite face to the former. Further, the total amount of a volatile matter of the styrene resin is 2 wt.% or less and the thermal deformation temperature is 75 deg.C or higher. Thus it is possible to prevent the strength of the honeycomb panel from deteriorating and the cooling time from becoming longer. |
