FIELD: installations for pipes packaging, storing and transportation. ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the packaging installations used for packaging, storing and transportation of the cylindrical long-length pipes. The installation includes the group of the end and intermediate supports located one above the other, each of which has at least one metallic reinforcing component with the shaped cast profile and made out of a plastic material, between which there is a conversion layer having adhesion with them, density of which is determined from the following expression: rhomet> rhoc> rhop where: rhomet - is the density of the metal of the reinforcing component, g/cm3, rhoc - is the density of the conversion layer, g/cm3 , rhop - is the density of the plastic material of the cast profile, g/cm3. At that on the outer surface of each of the vertical poles of the supports there is a mortise for arrangement of the contracting band and the end areas of the reinforcing component of the end supports in the assembly are cambered in such a manner, that their end surfaces are disposed in the pole of the support above the level of the flat sections of the inner side of the profile.
