PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrothermal power generation unit capable of surely diagnosing an electrothermal power generation module without opening/closing a case, enlarging output per unit area and maintaining operation even if the electrothermal power generation module becomes abnormal.SOLUTION: An electrothermal power generation unit 1 comprises a case 2 in which first to fourth electrothermal power generation modules M1-M4 each formed from a plurality of electrothermal elements are accommodated and which includes a heating surface and a cooling surface. The electrothermal power generation unit 1 also comprises: a multilayer substrate including a first layer including an inter-element electrode 22 for output circuit formation for connecting the electrothermal elements, a second layer 2 in which a plurality of through-holes penetrating from a front side to a rear side are formed, and a third layer including a plurality of bypass patterns conducted with the through-holes. On the front face of the first layer, proximal ends of lead pins P1-P10 penetrating the case 2 insides and outsides are connected to both ends of an output circuit defining the first to fourth electrothermal power generation modules M1-M4 as units.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
