A chromatography measuring instrument wherein, as shown in Figure 1, a part of a chromatography specimen (1), from a label reagent holding portion (3) where a label reagent is held to a specific protein immobilizing portion (5) where a color reaction appears is covered with a liquid-nonpermeable sheet member (6) of a plastic tape in a contact state, and the other part is not covered and exposed. The constituent members of thus constituted chromatography measuring instrument are reduced, the specimen preparing process is simplified, and the chromatography measuring instrument has a high sensitivity and a high performance and can be produced at low cost.
