PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the good press molding of a metal material to be supplied to the press molding without preliminarily coating the metal material with a sufficient amount of a lubricant or anticorrosive lubricant having high lubricity. SOLUTION: This mold-coating oil for plastically processing the metal material comprises a base oil comprising a mineral oil and/or a synthetic oil and additives, and the method for plastically processing the metal material is characterized by coating the mold for the plastically processing with a lubricating oil.
