METHOD FOR ENCODING INFORMATION TO BE PRINTED OUT ON PRINTING MEDIUM, METHOD FOR DECODING INFORMATION PRINTED ON PRINTING MEDIUM AND TWO-DIMENSIONAL DATA BAR CODE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a two-dimensional(2D) bar code capable of expressing digitally encoded data and eliminating the necessity of a clock by generating a randomized data stream having '0' and '1' characters of one sequence. SOLUTION: Data in a data stream are randomized in steps 33, 34 so as to surely include the practically same numbers of '0' bits and '1' bits and the randomized data stream is mapped. In a step 35, the number of encoded data bits is counted and block identifiers (IDs) are inserted into plural space positions to be used for detecting a data rows/columns lost or added at the time of reading out a Pana Mark. In steps 36, 38, header information and necessary control data are added to the Pana Mark and a 2D digital array is converted into a portable bit map format and anolog information and the Pana Mark are printed out on a printing medium.
