Loose leaf file assembly - has papers held in place by spring rings which can be opened by hooks in slots in file spine

Sheets of paper are held i a loose leaf file by means of rings attached to the file spine. Each ring is formed from a strip of resilient material which can be bent to a circular shape. One end of each ring is attached to a fixed hook whilst the other end passes through a hook which can slide in a transverse slot (2) in the file spine (1). When the ring is closed the sliding hook lies close to the fixed hook. The ring is opened by sliding the movable hook along the slot (2) away from the fixed hook. USE - Loose leaf files.
