PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the wasting loss of a packing of a pot at a renewal or at an assembling process by deterioration of the elasticity of the packing by a long time use in a home use or business use rice cooker. SOLUTION: The rice cooker comprises a main body 2 housing a pot 1 which can be put in and out freely, an outer lid 3 covering the main body 2, and an attachment and detachment free heating plate unit 4 attached to the lower surface of the outer lid 3. The heating plate 4 pinches and fixes the packing of the pot partition freely which is set to the outer peripheral part of a heating plate 7 by the dish-shaped heating plate 7 and a heating plate supporter with a mounting part mounting to the lower surface of the outer lid 3, and the serviceability of the packing of the pot is improved.
