A water tank for a steam cleaner with a water leakage preventing hole is provided to prevent the water from being leaked when the cleaner stands during the cleaning, and continually discharge steam. A water tank for a steam cleaner with a water leakage preventing hole is composed of: a lower case attached with a heater(102) on the lower surface and installed with a first discharge pipe hole on the lower surface to pass through a steam discharge pipe(101); an upper case(120) mounted with a combining protrusion(121) at the edge of the lower end to be combined with a combining protrusion(111) of the lower case, formed with a water injection port(123) at one side of the upper surface, and formed with a square-shaped space(126) by a partition(125); a cover(130) formed with a rib(134) shaped like a lattice; a first rubber packing(140) combined between the combining protrusions of the upper and lower cases; and a second rubber packing(150) combined at the partition of the upper case and the combining protrusion of the cover. A steam outflow hole is installed with the water leakage preventing hole.
