A steering apparatus equipped with a pop-up prevention device for a steering column in a vehicle is provided to protect occupants from secondary impact due to pop up of the steering column by forming a friction reinforcing structure having a concave-convex shape between a tilt bracket and a distant bracket. A steering apparatus equipped with a pop-up prevention device for a steering column in a vehicle comprises a tilt bracket(2) covering a steering column(1) and having a left flange(3) and a right flange(4), a distant bracket(5) and an adjust bolt. The distant bracket includes an adhesion flange(6), a left flange(7) and a right flange(8), in which the left flange and the right flange are disposed at an inner surface of the left flange and the right flange of the tilt bracket, respectively. Steel embossment guides(3b,4b) are formed at an inner surface of the left and right flanges of the tilt bracket. A steel embossment guide plate(9) is provided at an outer surface of the left and right flanges of the distant bracket.
