PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the highly precise marking by detecting the arrival position of the marking paint to a moving member based on the moving speed of the moving member, and correcting the ejecting direction of the marking paint according to the detected position. SOLUTION: Marking is achieved by moving a marking device 3 in the width direction of a moving member 2 at the speed of v2 . The speed v1 is detected by a speed detecting means 5 of a conveyor 1, and a controller 6 operates and predicts the arrival position of the ink 4 to the moving member 2 based on the detected value. The marking device 3 is tilted in the advancing direction of the moving member 2 by driving a cylinder device according to the predicted position so that tanθ=v1 /v2 is obtained with one side 7 of the moving member 2 in the width direction and the other side 8 being tilted, and in this condition, the marking device 3 is moved in the width direction of the moving member 2 at the speed of v2 . The direction of injection of the ink 4 to be injected from the marking device 3 is corrected to allow the marking paint to correctly arrive at the target position of the moving member 2, and the straight mark is obtained in the width direction of the moving member 2.
