Disclosed are a data collection method and apparatus, and a management communication device of a network manager. The data collection method comprises: acquiring performance items of data; dividing the performance items into at least two classes; and performing corresponding data collection operations according to the classified performance items. By acquiring performance items of data, dividing the performance items into at least two classes and performing corresponding data collection operations according to the classified performance items, the present solution reduces the data volume of network transmission during performance collection, relieves the stress on storage of historical performance by the network manager, increases the efficiency of querying the historical performance by the network manager, and ensures that useful performance data cannot be discarded. |
