PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the following trouble that a lubricant applied between a developing roller and a developing blade sticks to a photoreceptor drum at the start of using a process cartridge equipped with an automatic toner seal opener, and then, a defective image is formed at the initial stage. SOLUTION: At the start of using the process cartridge 1, a photoreceptor drum 10 and the developing roller 12 are rotated, simultaneously, a high voltage is applied by a high voltage power source. And, the lubricant shifted to the photoreceptor drum 10 is scraped by the cleaning blade 14. A high voltage is applied on a transfer roller 5 by a high voltage power source 51 so as to clean the transfer roller 5. |
