PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless transmission station capable of suppressing the peak vs average power ratio of an electric signal supplied to a plurality of transmission antenna elements, in a wireless transmission station performing hybrid beam forming.SOLUTION: A power measuring section 50 measures the power of an L series signal outputted from a digital precoder 44. A parameter control section 52 adjusts at least any one of the parameters for transmission signal generation and the precoding matrix, so as to reduce the peak of the power of a signal outputted from the digital precoder 44, on the basis of the power measurement. An analog beam former 40A has L branch/L sub-branches, and each sub-branch has a variable phase shifter and an amplitude adjuster. The signal subjected to adjustment of phase and amplitude, in each sub-branch, is supplied to a transmission antenna element 46, without being added with the signal of other sub-branch.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14 |
