A method for predicting dust is provided to prevent environmental pollution by promptly performing previous management, as warning is promptly issued if the dust is flown out or spread to the outside of a working yard by predicting a dust generation quantity based on a dust prediction model and setting a water spray quantity of the working yard to the minimum dust generation. Independent variables participated in dust generation are selected and filtered(S1). The final independent variables are formed by analyzing a statistical caution level for the selected independent variables(S2). The dust predicting model is selected by using the independent variables to a linear regressive formula and an optimal value of each independent variable is determined to minimize the dust generation quantity by using the selected dust predicting model(S3). The optimal dust generation quantity of each season is predicted by using the selected dust predicting model and the water spray quantity of the working yard is set to minimize the predicted dust generation quantity(S4). |
