A display substrate, a manufacturing method thereof, and a display device having the display substrate are provided to remarkably reduce the number of components mounted on a circuit board by forming a capacitance required by the circuit board on a display substrate, and charging the capacitance to the display substrate or discharging the capacitance to the circuit board. A substrate(10) includes an effective display area, and a noneffective display area encompassing the effective display area. A first capacitor electrode is disposed in the noneffective display area. A dielectric layer covers the first capacitor electrode. A second capacitor electrode is disposed on the dielectric layer, and faces the first capacitor electrode. A transparent electrode is disposed in the effective display area, and is transparent and conductive. |
