PURPOSE: To make the appearance and design of a housing easily changeable by detachably attaching a skirt or panel to the outside of the housing. CONSTITUTION: A skirt or panel made of a synthetic resin is detachably attached to a computer housing 8. The front section of the housing 8 is divided into an upper section 10 and lower section 12. A disc driving mechanism port 14 and a light emitting diode 16 are provided in the upper section 10 and a front skirt 6 and a power supply output-input button are provided in the lower section 12. A cantilever snap putting member 20 and a slide hook are also provided in the lower section 12. When the housing 8 is constituted in such a way, the member 20 can be put by only lightly pushing the head section of the member 20 by hand and can be removed by only pulling the member 20 downward by hand.
