PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a structure of stairs which allows simple operations for mounting, can reinforce the central part of each footboard where persons stamp frequently, and prevents squeaking due to stamping. SOLUTION: The structure of stairs concened includes footboards 1, riser plates 2, and reinforcement 3 to be laid on the rear surface of each plate 2 to reinforce the middle part of each footboard 1, wherein the reinforcement 3 has an approx. L-shaped section consisting of a vertical piece 7 laid alongside the riser plate 2 and a crosswise piece 10 laid alongside the footboard 1. Together wih the vertical piece 7 the riser plate 2 is secured to the end face of the footboard 1 by a fixture 4, while the crosswise piece 10 is securd to the rear surface of footboard one step over with the aid of another fixture of the same construction. |
