A projection display has all display elements projected onto the surface of a protective cover. The cover consists of Ulexit or another material with identical or similar properties. A transparent or semi-transparent material is arranged beneath the protective cover using a simple flap mechanism. Several printed materials can be arranged one above the other, e.g. for audio or t.v. displays. The arrangement can be operated effectively without a Ulexit covering. USE/ADVANTAGE - The display can be used for many applications, including as a purely decorative element which can be used with a light source to produce an attractive illumination unit.
