The printer has a counter roller (3) acting as counter print cylinder for flexographic printing and support cylinder for gravure printing. A central roller (7) is adjustable relative to the counter roller and has a sleeve change system so that for flexographic printing the sleeve (38) supports the flexographic image and for gravure printing a smooth rubber sleeve is used. The central roller can be associated with the change roller (8) which for flexographic printing has a flexographic doctor blade (32) and for gravure printing has a gravure doctor blade (43).
