摘要 The invention relates to a method suitable for a system comprising a frequency converter and a generator which are connected to an electrical grid, said method comprising steps of obtaining the subsynchronous components of the network voltage and determining damping current instructions (40', 41') according to said subsynchronous components in order to compensate the subsynchronous resonances of the network. The damping current instructions (40', 41') are determined by means of regulating means (45') that receive the subsynchronous components of the network voltage and send back the damping current instructions (40', 41') as outputs. Said regulating means (45') comprise a regulator with a variable damping gain (46a') that is adjusted according to the subsynchronous frequency of the network, so as to be able to adapt the required compensation level to the frequency converter in order to damp the subsynchronous resonance of the network.
