<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing circuit that allows light from a part contacting a detection surface to transmit therethrough and that can accurately binarize analog image signals acquired through an image guide configured to absorb light from a non-contacting part. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing circuit that allows light from a part contacting a detection surface to transmit therethrough and binarizes analog image signals acquired through the image guide 14 configured to absorb light from the non-contacting part includes a slice level creation means 43 for creating a slice level according to the average value of the analog image signals, and a comparison means 42 that compares the slice level created by the slice level creation means 43 with the analog image signals to create binary image signals according to their relationship. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
