PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow precise specification of a location where an abnormality has occurred in an optical fiber temperature measuring apparatus or an optical fiber.SOLUTION: The present invention includes: a light source emitting a pulse light into an optical fiber; a light receiving system receiving a Raman scattered light generated in the optical fiber; and a controller controlling the operations of the light source and the light receiving system, the controller having a temperature calculating function of calculating the temperature of a specific site of the optical fiber, and an optical fiber diagnostic function of making a determination that an abnormality has occurred in the optical fiber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
