PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an energy loss in heating a powder material by suppressing heat release due to cooling of a pair of upper and lower punches and consequently, to shorten a cycle time for the sintering process. SOLUTION: This electric sintering device is an electric pressure sintering device consisting of a mold having a hollow part and the pair of upper and lower punches fitted to the hollow part so as to be freely inserted and detached. In the hollow part of the mold, a sintering chamber is formed by the mold and the pair of upper and lower punches. The pair of upper and lower punches have heat insulation bodies inserted therein for preventing a heat transfer. The heat insulation body used for the electric sintering device is a container formed in a box-shape filled with ceramic powder, ceramic grains or a mixture thereof in a compacted condition and has a lid body slidably fitted thereto.
