PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a matte acrylic resin film that does not cause cracking in a matte layer and shows little change in matte appearance before and after molding, even in the case where it is subjected to an insert molding or an in-mold molding and is formed into a deep-drawn shape and has surface hardness, chemical resistance, heat resistance and matting properties required for its application to a trim member for a vehicle. SOLUTION: This process for producing a matte acrylic resin film comprises applying a coating liquid comprising a matting agent and a binder resin onto an acrylic resin film substrate by using a roll with oblique lines which have 150 or more lines per inch and are engraved at an angle of 40-50°with respect to the axial direction of the roll by a printing method or a coating method to form a matte layer of 0.1-5μm in thickness. The matte acrylic resin film has a pattern layer on the opposite side of the surface on which the matte layer of the acrylic resin film is formed.
