<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological information measuring apparatus which can be fixed to a wrist in full contact to certainly detect the biological information regardless of a degree of fastening of a band around the wrist of a wearer. <P>SOLUTION: A wristwatch (100) includes a pulse detecting section (P) which detects the pulse on the basis of a pulsatory motion of the artery near the wrist (R), and the band (2) which fixes a main body of the apparatus (1) having the pulse detecting section to the wrist, wherein elastic sections (21b and 22b) which are elastic in a longitudinal direction of the band are disposed at least at a part of the band so that the biological information detecting section can detect the pulse when the main body of the apparatus is fixed on the wrist by the band and a guide section (18a) which restricts the elastic section to move to the inside of the wrist and guides the expansion and contraction of the elastic section in the longitudinal direction of the band is disposed at the back of the elastic section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
