PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle coating composition excellent in paint workability and drying properties.SOLUTION: A vehicle coating composition includes a resin and an organic solvent. The organic solvent includes an ester solvent (A) and at least one hydrocarbon (B) selected from an alicyclic hydrocarbon and an aliphatic hydrocarbon. The content of the ester solvent (A) is 65.0-99.0 mass% in the organic solvent. The content of the hydrocarbon (B) is 0.3-25.0 mass% in the organic solvent.
