PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing technology of a toner supply roller which has excellent toner conveyability and scraping property of unnecessary toner, and which can solve the problem about molding.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a toner supply roller includes: an insertion step of inserting a roller material 10 which has a shaft 11 and a columnar elastic layer 12 that comprises foam carried at its outer periphery, into a cylindrical molding tool m having irregular recesses and protrusions or recessed grooves along the longitudinal direction on an inner peripheral surface; a transfer step of transferring the irregular recesses and protrusions or the recessed grooves along the longitudinal direction on the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical molding tool, onto the surface of the roller material by heating the roller material inserted into the cylindrical molding tool; and a taking-out step of acquiring a roller by taking out the roller material having the irregular recesses and protrusions or the recessed grooves along the longitudinal direction transferred onto the surface, out of the cylindrical molding tool. |
