<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form up a longitudinal carrying path even in a comparatively small area, and maintain the positional stability of carrying rollers when a guide member is folded over in its structure. SOLUTION: This device is a paper longitudinal carrying device 70 which carries papers fed from a paper feeding part within an image forming device in the longitudinal direction so as to feed them to an image forming part, and the carrying device 70 is equipped with a first guide plate 71 which is mounted to the image forming device main body at its lower end in such a way as to be freely turned around and is provided while being extended to the longitudinal direction, and guides the papers to the longitudinal direction by its single face, a second guide plate 72 the lower end of which is mounted to the upper end part of the first guide plate 71 in such a way as to be freely bent upward so as to allow the papers having been guided by the first guide plate 71, to be guided to the longitudinal direction, and with an opening/closing mechanism 74 which is interposed between the first guide plate 71 and the second guide plate 72, maintains carrying rollers 73a for carrying the paper, and the first and second guide plates 71 and 72 in a carrying attitude each, and concurrently releases the carrying attitude so as to be replaced with an open attitude, in which the second guide plate 72 is turned around the outer side of the image forming device.</p> |
