<p>It is an object to provide an optical pickup device that can be configured to make an optical system commonly used while maintaining endurance in order to carry out information recording and/or reproduction for different optical information recording media. A first setting-up mirror (M1) is set to be closer to a light source than a second setting-up mirror (M2). In addition, since the first setting-up mirror (M1) is a mirror to reflect a first light bundle of blue purple laser light, the first light bundle is reflected by the first setting-up mirror (M1). Thus, the first light bundle is prevented from being incident on a DVD second objective lens (OBJ2). Even if part of the first light bundle penetrates the first setting-up mirror (M1), the second setting-up mirror (M2) is made to be a mirror that permits the first light bundle to penetrate but reflects second light bundle, so that the first light bundle, which is slightly leaking, is prevented from being reflected by the second setting-up mirror (M2), and, further, so that the first light bundle is prevented from being incident on the second objective lens (OBJ2).</p> |
