PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid container which achieves locking by a one-touch operation by providing an operation lever and an attaching/detaching lever and arranging them so that the attaching/detaching lever may be laid over the operation lever when operating the attaching/detaching lever, and achieves reduction in size of a plug body, and also which prevents high-temperature vapor and hot water from being jetted out suddenly when pouring hot water.SOLUTION: The liquid container has a container body, the plug body provided at an opening of the container body, a spout, and a handle. The plug body has a valve member opened and closed to make the inside of the container body and the spout communicate with each other or disconnected from each other, the operation lever opening and closing the valve member, and the attaching/detaching lever performing locking onto the opening or releasing the locking. The operation lever is arranged on a line joining the spout and the handle, and is operated in a vertical direction. The attaching/detaching lever is arranged on a line orthogonal to the operation lever, and is operated in a horizontal direction. When the attaching/detaching lever is not operated, the attaching/detaching lever is not laid over the operation lever in plan view, and when the attaching/detaching lever is operated, the attaching/detaching lever is laid over the operation lever in plan view. |
