<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating shellfishes, in which exfoliated shellfishes are separated by a screen of simple treatment equipment, the separated shellfishes are prevented from generating a putrefactive smell and COD of the separated liquid is lowered satisfactorily. <P>SOLUTION: The method for treating shellfishes comprises the steps of: crushing or non-crushing stuck shellfishes 2 exfoliated from a wall 1 of a waterway of seawater; transferring the crushed or non-crushed shellfishes to a screen 3-overhung storage tank 5; spraying a putrefactive smell preventing agent 6 toward a solid on the screen and then treating the putrefactive smell preventing agent-sprayed solid separately; aerating or non-aerating the ooze-containing separated liquid under the screen in the storage tank 5; transferring the aerated or non-aerated separated liquid to a flocculation reaction tank 8; adding an inorganic flocculant 9 to the transferred liquid; subjecting the flocculation-reacted liquid to solid-liquid separation in a solid-liquid separation tank (a precipitation tank 10) to obtain separated sludge and treated water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
