PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication method, system and apparatus in which the situation of a monitored person such as an aged person living alone can be obtained easily by a monitor such as a close relative of the monitored person. SOLUTION: A first communication apparatus 1 such as a portable telephone possessed by a monitored person starts calling of a second communication apparatus (S104) when alarm processing is started at a preset time (S101), and an operation for stopping alarm processing is received from the monitored person (S102: YES). When a predetermined time elapses after calling is started or the monitor performs an operation for stopping alarm processing of the second communication apparatus, calling is stopped at that moment in time (S105). When the stopping operation is not accepted until a predetermined time elapses after alarm processing is started, the first communication apparatus 1 performs communication processing for notifying the second communication apparatus that alarm processing is not stopped (S108).
