Toy train and railway station with passengers - arranged so that passengers enter and leave train

The toy station has two tracks for the train. the passengers are wooden dolls mounted on a base with a spherical undersurface which allows the dolls to slide down a relatively gentle slope whilst maintaining their upright position. The train is held stationary by the lever which also controls the signal and the hinged ramp so that the 'passengers' can slide down the ramp and into the coaches of the train. Raising the lever releases the train, raises the signal arm and tips the ramp so that the 'passengers' are held back. The working of the toy is so simple that it can easily be operated by a young child.
