PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device capable of restraining a steering column from falling due to erroneous operation even when a setting value of a separation load for moving the steering column to a vehicle body front side is decreased.SOLUTION: A member coupling structure comprises: a first fixing member with a first hole opened; a second fixing member with a second hole opened; and a shear pin which connects the first fixing member and the second fixing member at a position striding over the first hole and the second hole and is cut at a cut surface of a boundary portion of the first fixing member and the second fixing member by relative movement of the first fixing member and the second fixing member. The shear pin comprises an outer pin having a guide hole and penetrating the first hole and the second hole, and an inner pin inserted into the guide hole. The inner pin comprises a body part penetrating the guide hole. The body part comprises a large diameter part pressing an inner wall of the guide hole, and a small diameter part disposed at a position striding over the first hole and the second hole and having an outer periphery smaller than an outer periphery of the large diameter part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 46
