<p>Clamp profile is described resembling short 'U' channel profile with one web partly slit longitudinally. The free portion of the slit web is extended to provide a projecting undercot tip. The clip is suitable for clamping profiles with 'L' shaped lips or/flanges aligned side by side. Suitable for mounting trim or padding profiles on to vehicle body panels or linings. Pref. the clamp is moulded from polyoxymethylene to combine rigidity, elasticity and corrosion resistance. The shape of the clamp is easy to engage and can tolerate relative longitudinal displacement of the assembled profiles, e.g. due to local differentials.</p> |
