PURPOSE:To prevent lowering of oxygen amount and deterioration of superconductivity by constituting the super conductive wire material out of a wire material of non oxidizing substance and a layer of oxide superconductor to cover the periphery of the non oxidizing substance wire material. CONSTITUTION:It is constituted of a non-oxidizing wire material and a layer of oxide superconductor to cover the periphery of this non-oxidizing substance wire material. As a non-oxidizing substance, noble metals such as silver (Ag), gold(Au), Platinum(Pt), palladium, etc., or alloy made of them as a base, etc., can be used. An oxide superconductor layer is formed on the wire material of non-oxidizing substance like this, and this wire material becomes a supporting body for the superconductor. And, since this wire material being the supporting body is made of non-oxidizing substance, there never occur such a case that the oxigen inside the oxide superconductor layer is robbed by the glass, etc. Hereby, sufficient oxigen amount is secured in the layer of the oxide superconductor and the deterioration of superconductivity at the critical temperature or critical current can be prevented.
