<p>This patent application relates to immunogens for stimulating mucosal immunity to a pathogen capable of infecting its host through contact with mammalian mucosal membranes. In particular, this invention discloses a number of polypeptides and genetic constructs that include a membrane binding polypeptide operably linked to a peptide from a pathogen. Methods are detailed throughout the claims and the specification for introducing these immunogens into a mammal to stimulate mucosal immune responses.</p> |
