<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a yield at the time of production by decreasing the line defects by disconnection increasing with a trend toward the larger size and higher fineness of a liquid crystal panel and the spot defects by the defects of picture element electrodes and switching elements. SOLUTION: The gate bus lines 18 of a TFT (thin-film transistor) substrate 11 constituting the liquid crystal panel of a large screen are formed to a ladder shape. Picture element electrodes 17 are disposed in the regions enclosed by the main wiring 18a, 18a of the adjacent gate bus lines 18 and adjacent source bus lines 19, 19. TFT 13 is disposed at every intersected point A of the main wiring 18a and the source bus line 19.</p> |
