<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probing radar which can efficiently form images of different resolution by using one antenna, and to provide a probing method. SOLUTION: The radar 1 is provided with a calculating means 11 which calculates a beat signal from a transmitting wave which is an FM-CW wave transmitted to a area containing an object to be probed and the received wave of the transmitting wave and a selecting means 12 which selects an arbitrary frequency band from the transmitting frequency band of the FM-CW wave and decides the temporal period corresponding to the frequency band as the analytical section to be subjected to spectrum analysis of the beat signal.</p> |
