<p>Beater mill comprises an annular track which surrounds the rotor (6, 7) at a distance to leave a grinding gap (12, 13), and of which the front portion consists of a grinding track with baffle ribs (8) while the rear portion consists of a screen basket (9). The rotor comprises at least one disc with peripheral plate-shaped beaters (10, 11). The grinding gaps are adjusted separately in the region of the track with baffle ribs and in the region of the screen basket. Pref. there are two identical rotors mounted one behind the other on the mill shaft (5), with separate rows of beaters for cooperation with the baffle rib track and screen basket.</p> |
