A photographic camera comprises a magazine (8) for individual frame cassettes (15). Each film sheet (18 is mounted on a transparent plate (17) in a separate cassette holder (16). The magazine contains a spring (14) biassing the cassettes against a barrier (13). At the edge of the transparent plate is an opaque frangible strip with projections for holding the plate in the cassette holder. In the holder are two holes. The camera contains a two-part slide (28-32) which runs in grooves (30) in the camera housing (2). One part (28) has a projection for conveying a cassette out of the magazine, and two pins (31) coupled to the holes in the holder. The other part (32) has two projections (34) coupled to holes in the plate.
