Circuit for priority reception of traffic messages - uses a car radio with traffic signal decoder switched through when traffic message appears

The circuit contains a car radio with a traffic radio decoder and an l.f. selector switch in the car radio l.f. signal path. An l.f. wire for general radio programs is connected to the l.f. switch one terminal, and a wire for traffic messages is connected to the switch second terminal. An l.f. wire of a radiotelephone set (8) is connected to the l.f. switch (4) third terminal (c). The switch (4) is controlled by a logic circuit (9) with a stand-by switch (11). When the stand-by switch (11) is on, and either the car radio or the radiotelephone is operated, the appearance of a traffic messages causes the l.f. traffic wire to be switched through by control signals applied by the traffic radio decoder (2) to the logic circuit (9). When the stand-by switch (11) is off, the connection between the car radio (1) and the radiotelephone set (8) is disconnected.
