PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide upper boxes of a machine body in a grain dryer, capable of properly confirming the feed amount of grain by visual observation through viewing windows in a state of no false recognition in completing a feed operation of grain to a storage part of the grain dryer, setting a fixed drying condition and starting a drying operation and simply checking the inside of a machine body for safety through the viewing windows. SOLUTION: In this grain dryer equipped with vertically arranged viewing windows 6 on a machine wall at the front of upper boxes of a machine body so as to confirm the feed amount of grain by visual observation, a top plate of 30 the upper box 3 is equipped with a fitting stand 7 and the fitting stand is provided with a projector 8 for projecting light rays from the interior of the upper boxes 3 to the inside of the viewing windows 6.
