摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic pressure bearing with high rotating accuracy and high reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The dynamic pressure bearing of a small-sized motor is formed of a specific non-magnetic steel material having excellent workability, wear resistance, and corrosive resistance. The specific steel material contains 14.00% Cr, 8.00% Mn, 0.20% C, 2.00% Ni, 0.35% Si, and less than 0.05% P. Since the specific steel material is high in workability, working accuracies such as surface roughness and squareness can be increased to increase the rotating accuracy of the dynamic pressure bearing. Also, the specific steel material has such a physical property that the surface thereof to which pressure is applied is hardened when the steel material is elastically deformed by the application of pressure. By using the physical property, the wear resistance of the bearing can be increased by pressing the surface of the dynamic pressure bearing where the rotating portion comes into contact with the standstill portion thereof for hardening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
