<p>The panel has inner (3) and outer (2) metal plates sandwiching an insulation core (4), the plates being joined by bolts which are contained entirely between the outer plates. High rigidity and span are possible together with the utilization of weaker non-combustible insulation. Both inner and outer plates (2, 3) are of the continuous undulating trapezoidal trough form, and transverse bars welded at intervals to the inner faces are used to locate the bolts which are retained by spring clips, the clips locating in the undulations of the plates. The insulation is in the form of corrugated material and adjacent panels have cooperating interlocking edges.</p> |
